God created mankind as man and woman, animals according to their own kinds, and plants according to their own kinds....God did not make a mistake when He created each of us. The mistake is made by those who do not agree that He is the One who made us fearfully and wonderfully. Instead, many believe that all of us were not made correctly or uniquely and support the notion that some of us should “re-create” ourselves.
During this process of re-creating, we are to look at the world and search for who we feel we should be outwardly and inwardly; however, we are trying to find the answer in a world which is fallen and began from sin. Let me ask you a simple question. If we wanted to try to find a lion, would it be possible to find it in a rabbit hole? Of course not! If we think we have found it, the truth is we have only found an illusion.
What I want to talk about is not only who we are, but who we have been made to be. Hear this carefully…
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27, NIV)
“So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. ” ((Genesis 1:21, NIV)
“God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. ” (Genesis 1:25, NIV)
“The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. ” (Genesis 1:12, NIV)
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31, NIV)
There was only one thing God saw which He said was not good and that is for the man to be alone. So He made a helper suitable for the man, a woman from the rib God had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man. And they became one flesh. (Genesis 2:20-24)
God has not made a mistake. He made everything according to His perfect will. He is a God of order and has made woman for man in order to help him and so that they can become one flesh.
My dear friends, I hope and pray that you will simply go ask Jesus to show you who you truly are and help you know that you are blessed to be you! Remember that He is the One who loves you to the point that He gave Himself up as a sacrifice for you and He will never make a mistake. If you believe in Him and call Him Lord, then you must also obey Him and receive His word which says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
