Being Fruitful

Author: Coria Brock Isaiah 53:12, New International Version “Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” |
“Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1, NIV)
Who? Do you believe? Or you are one of those who mock the Lord, and say the message of the cross is foolishness? The word of man may cheat you, and if you have lived for long you have surely experienced this to some degree now, but the Word of God can never lie!
The book of Isaiah was written seven hundred years before Christ was born. Yet it speaks of every detail concerning the Messiah. It tells us that He would come for His people and that what He would do must be accomplished in the Father’s will – that He would rise from the dead to life and because of that we can also have life.
If you hear the message and the truth of Jesus, what then makes you reject it? Are you unable to accept that you will have life and life abundantly and that there is someone who loves you so much that He would give Himself up for you? Or you are concerned that this is just another lie from man and you don’t want to believe in a fake hope? Maybe you are foolish to the point that you believe your intelligence is higher than the One who created the universe, and His existence does not make logical sense to you? Sadly, the reason may also be that you are simply in rebellion and are deceived.
Read the Bible before you make any assumptions. If you can enjoy the words of your fortune cookie, or be amazed at the results of a science experiment, then you should read for yourself, because the Bible is in fact easily proven by observational science and historical science. If you seek any power, then this is the greatest power you can witness – a life raised from the dead and given full authority in heaven and on earth.
In Isaiah 53:1-3 it is written that He would be rejected by many, and it is proven in John 12:37-38.
In Isaiah 53:2 it is written that He would come from humble begins, and it is proven in John 1:46.
In Isaiah 53:3 it is written that He would experience suffering, and it is proven in Luke 9:22.
In Isaiah 53:5-6 it is written that He would bear our sins and take our punishment upon Himself, and it is proven in 1 Peter 2:24-25.
In Isaiah 53:7 it is written that He would keep silent during His suffering, and it is proven in Mark 13:3-5.
In Isaiah 53:9 it is written that He would die with the wicked and be buried with the rich, and it is proven in Matthew 227:38, 57-60.
In Isaiah 53:10-12 it is written that He would rise from the dead, and it is proven in Act 2:31-33…
This same type of evidence is written throughout the whole Bible.
Why did God prophesy to us? Could it be that He simply wants us to believe? And that through our belief we can be saved? Why? God loves us so much, that is why!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NIV)
