Being Fruitful

For the past couple months, I have spent time reading the book of Psalms. My focus is not to approach it as an academically study, but rather to know the heart of the author, both the one who wrote it with their hands and the One inspired it through their soul. During my reading, I began to see the beauty which His love spoke into my soul. Most of the time as I read, there was an overwhelming presence of the Lord, and as a result I began to write about my heart for Him.
I want to share some of these writings with you today. Inspired from Psalm 134…
I sing with the love I have in my heart to my Lord Jesus, and my Father.
I sing for Him with my melody.
My love for Him is deep and I cannot take my eyes off of Him.
Lord, I need You, I want You, and I long for You.
Through Psalm 135…
If my lips do not praise the Lord, I have them for nothing.
If my heart does not praise the Lord, it is of no use at all.
Because I have no love.
Whoever lives in God has love in their heart. And if God live in us, we praise Him!
Whoever dwells in the Lord, is in His heart.
I know His heart and I cannot stop praising Him.
His goodness, beauty, kindness, faithfulness, and unfailing love overwhelms me.
I cry and laugh in joy all because I know His heart.
His beauty and His wonder I cannot find anywhere.
Never can find it in this world, nor do I deserve it.
But I am in His heart.
O my…this thought overwhelms me again!
I cannot fathom or even begin to think about this!
As far as the east is from the west, our God loves us still more.
Our word is too weak to describe God our Lord.
Praise Him, testify to Him, give our life to Him, He is worthy!
He gives us life, eternal life so that we can learn about Him.
Even with forever, we still cannot fully understand Him.
Through Psalm 144…
The Lord our God, what more can I ask of You? You have done more than I can think of in my life! The life of ruin I brought to myself, the mess, the lies I accepted and put myself in…You are not okay with nor do You accept for Your daughter. You came and rescued her. You showed her love that no man can give. You told her she is Yours and that no one can touch or bring harm to her anymore. You treat her like Your royal princess, and You train her like Your warrior. You do not give up on her even when she did, You will never give up! No matter how stubborn she was, You never give her up. You never stopped fighting for her until You restored her place in Your palace. She is created and assigned to sit beside Your throne, You hold her up with Your right hand and announce that she is Yours. She is made to be royalty and You do not just bless her, but those who are around her as well. You establish her and honor her. You sit her in Your palace and ensure that she is loved by the Mighty One!
My dear friends, in sharing what I have, does it mean that I have carried out what Ephesians 5:19 tells us to do when it says, “Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord”? The Lord sees our heart and the way that His Spirit works in us may not be a same pattern. But I tell you, He is always right there if you slow down and look for Him. The most precious thing we can have is a loving relationship with Jesus, and that relationship will transform our life forever!
