Being Fruitful
Proverbs 2:1-5, NIV “My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to ...." According to the wisdom of King Solomon in Proverbs 2:1-5 it is clear to me that – without wisdom you cannot have understanding, and without understanding you cannot have wisdom as well. Wisdom and understanding go hand and hand. In Psalm 111 the Psalmist (Who some believe was written by King David for the service of the church in their solemn feasts) also echoed this wisdom by saying, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow Click here to read more.... |
Prayer With Love
Lord, we humble ourselves before You and we seek Your mercy. Lord, we know that we have sinned and we know that we do not deserve the grace that You provide to us. We know that You love us unconditionally and there is nothing that we need to do or that we can do to earn Your love. Father, forgive us of our sins and let us be restored into relationship with You. We know that it is only through Your Son Jesus that this is possible and we accept the sacrifice that He made so that we can be forgiven. It is in the name of Jesus that we pray, amen and amen!
Instant Inspiration
Philippians 4:4-5, NIV
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.”
“No matter what, I choose to stay in joy and love!” This is my motto and my decision every new morning. I remember I once heard a person say “How can we share our God to others if we are always feel worry, sorrow, nervousness or anger? Who would want to believe something that can only bring suffering, sadness, and hopelessness into life.” I believe and totally agree with that in my heart.
You know what, the world never promises any creation living here that they will have good quality of life. Also the bible tells us, “You will have suffering in the world.” This should come as no surprise, just as we should not surprised at how hard the devil looks for every opportunity to steal our peace, destroy our joy, and kill our hope. We should know so well and truly understand that if we spend time in the Word of God we should have His goodness ready in our heart and our mind, just as Jesus mentions when He says, “Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” If we are ready then that means nothing can move our faith in how great our God is and nothing can shake our trust in how good is our God. When we are ready to put on the full armor of God, then we can take our stand against the devil's schemes.
So do we still need to carry our anxiety as we walk through our day? Do we still need to dwell into the negative feelings, put on a sad face, and speak complaints? Do we? I truly believe the biggest power and blessing from God is His love, and fear will never appear in perfect love. So from now on, I hope your day begins with a positive mind, a smiling face, and kind words. May we each let God love shine before others because we believe God’s love is with us!
